Frame Shop Website Design for Galleria On Third

This frame shop website design case study shows how we rebuilt the online presence of a Manhattan framing studio that has served New York since 1999. We designed the new website, built the founder's art brand, and connected Google Ads, Search Console, Analytics and a 4.9 star Google profile into one system that brings customers through the door.

01The brief

A loved shop with a dated front door

Galleria On Third has framed art, sports jerseys, diplomas and family keepsakes on 2nd Avenue for more than 25 years. Founder Shadin Hossain built the business on walk ins and word of mouth, and the reviews prove it. Design Fly 24 runs alongside the shop as its digital studio, so this project was personal for us.

The problem was the first impression online. A new customer who searched for custom framing in NYC found an old site that did not show the craft, the history or the six specialties the shop actually offers. The goal of the frame shop website design was simple: make the website as good as the work on the walls, then make every ad, search result and review point back to it.

  • Show the craft in the first scroll. Real photos of finished frames, not stock images.
  • Make booking easy. Book an appointment, get a free quote or call, on every page.
  • Turn ads into store visits. Google Ads focused on calls, directions and walk ins.
  • Tell the founder's story. A separate artist brand for Shadin's own artwork.
02The website

Framing for every story

We rebuilt galleriaonthird.com on WordPress and Elementor. The homepage opens with the line "Framing for Every Story" and a large photo of a finished piece, so visitors see the quality of the work before they read a word. Right below sit the proof points every buyer looks for: founded in 1999, more than 25 years in Manhattan, 12 benefit art shows and six framing specialties.

ServicesThe services section of the frame shop website design: six specialties, one standard.

A good frame shop website design answers the question "can they frame my thing?" in seconds. So each specialty has its own card and page: custom framing, needlework framing, jersey framing, ketubah framing, shadow boxes and award framing. Each one uses real photos from the shop, including a signed hockey jersey and a hand stitched needlework piece.

Trust

Press from Daily News, NY1 and PIX11, plus the founder's New Yorker of the Week award, sit where people decide.

Action

Commerce

An online shop sells frames and the founder's original art through WooCommerce.

03Speed

Grade A, and it feels instant

Framing is visual, so this frame shop website design is heavy on large photography. We still had to keep it fast, because a slow page loses a walk in customer to the shop down the street. We compressed every image, cleaned up scripts and cached the site with WP Rocket.

04Google Ads

Ads that bring people through the door

A new website only pays off when the right people see it. We run three Google Ads campaigns for the shop, led by a Performance Max campaign built for local store visits. It shows the shop to people nearby who are searching for framing, then sends them to the new site, to directions or straight to a phone call.

Conversions rose by 68 compared with the previous four weeks, and all three campaigns grew. The local store visits campaign led with 48 more conversions on its own. In the most recent week the cost per conversion dropped to $6.09. For a custom framing order, that is a very healthy return.

05Search

Found for the searches that pay

We set up Search Console for the full domain and built every page around how New Yorkers actually search. Within the first eight days of tracking, the new frame shop website design was already appearing for 579 different searches and had earned 3.09K impressions with an average position of 13.9.

06Artist brand

Shadin NYC: art with a home base

The founder of Galleria On Third is also a New York artist. We built shadinnyc.com as a separate brand for his work, built around the FIFA World Cup 2026 and America's 250th anniversary. It sells limited edition prints, framed artwork, apparel and souvenirs.

The two sites work as one system. Art fans discover the artist, then visit the shop on 2nd Avenue. Framing customers discover the founder and trust the shop even more. Both sites link to each other, and both point to the same address, phone number and Google profile.

07Reputation

314 reviews, now working harder

Galleria On Third holds a 4.9 star rating from 314 Google reviews. That trust took 25 years to earn, so the frame shop website design puts it front and center. The live Google rating appears next to the booking buttons, and we cleaned the review feed so only clear, genuine reviews show on the site.

Twenty five years of happy customers were already there. Our job was to make sure the next customer could see them before they walked in.

The Google Business Profile, the ads and the website now tell the same story. Someone who sees an ad, checks the reviews and opens the website gets one consistent message: a trusted Manhattan frame shop with real craft and an easy way to book.

08Process

How we planned the frame shop website design

Every frame shop website design starts with the same question we ask any client: what does a customer need to see before they trust you with something precious? For a framing studio, the answer is clear. People bring in a parent's diploma, a signed jersey, a wedding ketubah or a child's first painting. They want proof that the piece will be safe, that it will look beautiful, and that the price will be fair.

So we started with the customer journey instead of the layout. We mapped the three ways people find the shop: walking past on 2nd Avenue, searching Google for framing near them, and hearing about it from a friend. Each path needed a different first page, but all of them needed the same answers. Where is the shop? What can they frame? What does it look like when it is done? How do I book?

Step one: photograph the real work

Stock photos would have made this frame shop website design look like every other site in New York. Instead, we used real pieces from the studio: a New York skyline print in an ornate black frame, a needlework nativity in a round gold mat, a signed hockey jersey in a shadow box. Real work does the selling, so we gave it most of the space on every page.

Step two: write for how people search

We wrote each specialty page around the words customers actually type, such as jersey framing, ketubah framing, poster framing near me and canvas stretching NYC. Search Console now shows those exact phrases bringing people to the site, which tells us the plan worked.

Step three: make booking the easiest thing on the page

A frame shop website design has to turn interest into a visit. We placed three clear actions on every page: book an appointment, request a free quote, or call the studio. The quote form promises a reply within one business day, and the appointment page shows opening hours, the address between 48th and 49th Street, and directions.

Step four: connect everything to Google

Finally, we connected the website to Google Ads, Search Console, Google Analytics 4 and the Google Business Profile. This is the part most small shops skip. Without it, nobody knows which ads work, which searches bring customers, or which pages lead to calls. With it, every decision after launch is based on real numbers.

Why this frame shop website design works for other local businesses

The same approach works for any shop or studio that depends on trust: a tailor, a jeweler, a gallery, a repair shop or a boutique. Show the work, answer the obvious questions, make booking easy, and connect the site to Google so it keeps improving. That is the system behind this frame shop website design, and it is the same system we bring to every local business we work with.

09Lessons

What any local business can take from this

  • Show the work first. One great photo beats a paragraph of claims.
  • Put proof next to the buttons. Ratings, years in business and press belong where people decide.
  • Connect every channel. Ads, search, reviews and the website should send people to the same place.
  • Track from day one. With Search Console, Analytics and Ads connected, every result is measurable.

A frame shop website design checklist you can use today

If you own a framing studio, gallery or similar shop, use this quick frame shop website design checklist to review your own site before you spend money on ads:

  • Your headline names what you frame and where. A visitor should know you are a custom framer in their city within five seconds.
  • Real photos of real frames. Good frame shop website design uses your own finished work on the homepage, not stock images.
  • One page per specialty. Jersey, needlework, diploma and art framing each deserve their own page so Google can rank them.
  • Your rating near every button. A strong frame shop website design shows reviews right where people choose to book.
  • Hours, address and parking. Local customers need these before they walk over, so keep them visible on every page.
  • Fast loading on phones. Most framing searches happen on a phone, often while someone is already nearby.
  • Tracking from day one. Connect Search Console, Analytics and your Google Business Profile so you can see what works.

Most shops we talk to are missing three or four of these. Fixing them is usually faster and cheaper than people expect, and it often matters more than a full redesign. If you want a second opinion on your own frame shop website design, we are happy to take a look and tell you honestly what we would change first.

10FAQ

Frame shop website design questions

What should a frame shop website design include?

A clear headline about what you frame, real photos of finished work, a page for each specialty, your Google rating near the booking buttons, opening hours, a map and three easy ways to act: book, get a quote or call.

How long does a frame shop website design project take?

Most small retail sites take a few weeks from the first call to launch. We design the homepage first so you can see the direction before we build the rest.

How much does a frame shop website design cost?

Every shop is different, so we quote after a free call once we understand your pages, photos and goals. You see your new homepage concept before you commit.

Can Google Ads really bring customers into a local store?

Yes. A Performance Max campaign built around store visits, calls and directions can reach people nearby who are ready to buy. For Galleria On Third it delivered conversions at about $6 to $7 each.

Can you connect my Google reviews to the website?

Yes. We show your live Google rating and reviews on the site, hide duplicates or broken entries, and link the Business Profile back to the website so each one supports the other.

Do you only build websites for frame shops?

No. We work with consultants, security experts, speakers, coaches and local businesses across the US. Galleria On Third shows how the same thinking works for a retail shop.

Can you also run SEO and ads after launch?

Yes. Design Fly 24 offers SEO, Google Ads, LinkedIn branding, brand identity design, email marketing and monthly WordPress care, so one team can keep growing the site after launch.

Would you hire you, based on your website?

If your business is trusted offline but invisible online, we build the website, ads and search presence that close the gap. Book a free 15 minute website review.
